Defining the Core Church Model

In defining the core church model according to our vision, LWCC is the core church of KNCI, the mother church. When we talk about the network flowing from the core church, it is an apostolic principle. When we started, we opened our hearts for relationships to be formed and the Lord spoke to your hearts and said he wanted you to be joined to this anointing and covering, and that is what has been provided. It is to undergird, pray and cover you.

We are now going to take it to another level to see the churches really take on an apostolic character more in the earth. One dimension of our philosophy concerning the core church is the technology of apostolic networking. In some circles, apostolic network is seen as a loose conglomeration of churches or related ministries without any definable center of epicentric strength. However, when we talk about defining apostolic networking, it has to have an epicenter, a center of strength. Partnership creates a synergy that brings the miraculous.

It is important to know our center of strength as a network. With an apostolic pattern, it should be strength at the core, a wheel in the middle of a wheel. You have the core, but yet in that core, it spirals out and it continues until it affects the whole world. This is how the disciples were able to turn the whole world upside down. We have relationships, and we build on relationships but now it is time to bring some definable understanding of the epicentric core church of the KNCI.

KNCI finds its strength in the relationships. In the early church, when the problem arose concerning circumcision, the apostles through the wisdom of God and the elders that were at Jerusalem gave a word and there was a settling that came from the epicenter, the core church. The issue of circumcision was settled by the apostles and elders that were at Jerusalem. In addition, Jerusalem provided Peter with a center of operation for his journeys. It was important that the base operation be held even in the face of extreme persecution. We have to make sure we strengthen the base.

Living Word Christian Center has been raised up to provide KNCI with a place that adequately demonstrates the reality of apostolic doctrine, apostolic teaching, apostolic reformation, wisdom, and a pattern. It is through this base that we can see this being demonstrated in apostolic fathering, teaching, support, impartation, and reference for all the KNCI family. We have to model this in order for others in the body of Christ and other networks to see that we are serious about our relationship and Christ’s Kingdom.
